Q: How good is the quality on these projectors??
You can get a picture better then ANY rear projection TV... and on par with commercial projectors costing many thousands of dollars. Q: So I can do HDTV?? YES.. UXGA is HDTV resolution... and they do not cost several thousand dollars. Forget about projection panels! |

Q: So I can do HDTV??
YES.. UXGA is HDTV resolution... and they do not cost several thousand dollars. This is good to let everyone know. I noticed the pre-correction in the FAQ. As it is, I just got an HDTV Card (Win-TVD) to replace my TV-Wonder Here we go

Hi there, new to the forum, and also new to my current job: A/V department manager for a college! Anyway, a couple of our old OHP fresnel lenses have a white fim on them in spots, streaks, etc. I called Apollo (the company that made them) and they recommended I buy new fresnels for all of them. My question is this: Is there a method, however unorthodox, that will CLEAN fresnel lenses without damaging them? I don't want to try windex or glass cleaner because I've heard that's bad for them, but water won't remove this film.
Any help would be appreciated, and I'm sure I'll be around on this board a lot! |

Hey prufrock... if you haven't figured it out, I had the same problem, I put it in the dishwasher, turned my hot water heater up to maximum, waited a few hours for it to warm up
