Hi guys,
I finally picked up a used(barely.. mabye 20 times tops) OHP, and I'm trying to get it set up with my panel in somewhat of a permanent fashion. I plan on constructing a 15' or so VGA cable to run from my HTPC to my projector. My question is: can I make a simple splitter using some vga plugs so that I can use the PJ and monitor at the same time? Or will that degrade the signal? I don't want to have to unplug/replug things every time I want to use it. Thanks! |

You could try a vga switch or put 2 video cards in your htpc.

i did just that ( i have split the vga cable before, because i had to send the signal to 3 mintors). it worked great, i believe that the power of signal is not to be worried about, i think they have some sort of an amplifier there.
thanks
