Too bad you dont live near Toronto, I have a triplet lens here from a slide or finm projector that I tested with the LCD, and it projected all of it. I dont really need it though.

Perhaps if you wish to got BIGGER, you can get a CRT lens, I remember some science store was selling 5" ones for 8.99? and 3.5inch ones for even less. They have a VERY good light efficiency. I compared an old Delta4 CRT lens, vs a 15mm triplet projection lens, and got about 3-4 times more brightness.

Hi all. I've been lurking this forum for a while and the idea of building a projector by my own it's very fashinating. The problem here is that I'm Italian, so it's much more difficult for me to find the needed pieces. I wanted to do something similar to this one but everything I need on e-bay costs me a lot in shipping fees(30$ the projector and 35$ the shipping!!!). Do you know if there is any German or English (i don't even try to say Italian) e-store wich sells this kind of things?
Another question. I've found 2.5" a tft screen on ebay for 30$ with 105600 pixels. I'd like to know if I'm doing well calculating the pixel's size on the wall for a 100" image equal to 0.5cm x 0.5 cm (sqrt(200cm*150cm/105600)). If I'm right i don't think the quality should be so bad, but I'm probably doing an error not considering the dot pitch.
Bye

PS Sorry for the bad English

I dont recommend 100 inches, unless you are going to watch it from like 500 inches away.
