hi gstuder,

find a pic in my signatures thread. yeah 90 degrees, that's what we are all doing with that little cable. do not bend it to often...it'll break. my advice : as long as your's working never touch it again.....

no, my panel didn't turn black at any time. i guess it's the heat.
in case you have no ir-filter use a glass to divide the lightbox from your panel. add blowers on your panel for cooling. the panel will work up to 45°Celsius.

cya.

Gracias y saludos.

Default NEWS

In the meantime I managed the get the proj. working and I improvised a Condenser with a magnifying Glass, but I don't have here in Argentina something to replace the fresnel while I wait yours.
I found here an acrylic magnifying glass, plane, that has the measures of a credit card, and that could work. But I think its very small. So I prefer to wait.

The projection is not too bright, and of course I have the center more brighter thant the corners, but its a good begining.
I tried to take some pictures but my digiftal camera only takes the center and the rest is as if doesn't exists. I'll try with a common camera.
I think that the coating of my lens take a lot of light. I tried to replace the lens with a common magnifying glass and the picture was amazing brightly. But it was very difficult to have an all focused picture...

Well that's all for now.

bye

Default Is the 150W right?

Hi Gstuder! I am also from Argentina! Cordoba.
I am beggining with my projector. In my local Hardware store I could Only find a 150W MH lamp. 4200K Color temperature(I´ve read that it´s the appropriate color temp)
Is 150W enough?

The other problem is the LCD Screen. Are they easy to dissasemble and leaving just the lcd? I am planning to buy a 7" Pyramid LCD in a CarAudio Shop for U$s250 and I am afraid wether it will be easy strippable...

I appreciate any hints you can give me!
