Blueray copy to dvd 9. I am drooling over!
No need to buy bluray player?
I got this idea from several reviewers of blueray players
though they say bluray is really fantastic, dvd9 copies is also great!

I feel like I have 720p projector.

My 8.4 pj has an advantage in edge to edge brightness
and is brighter but LG 1553s contrast, color saturation, realistic color and details is really a blast!

Could you please show some inside images of your Projector?
Your PJ's image quality is superb.I seems as if these are some LCD TV images.
Are you using a 400w OSRAM HQI lamp?

Nope. 25ow only. A lot builders projects 100 or 120 inches diagonal at the expense of image quality and brightness. My pj is optimize for 70x70 screen or about 93 inches diagonal 4:3 and I think 70 inches for 16:9

latest pics in using short focal length condenser lens
experimenting to cover edge to edge brightness using 15 inch lcd.
