anyway Viki, for your satisfaction... i'm one of students of Sir Hertz (DIYPJPhils) and here's what u need to know:

Innolux 7 inch widescreen LCD Panel
Native Resolution: 800x480
Contrast: 500:1
Controller Inputs: VGA, Composite and S-Video

Projection lens 265 mm focal
Fresnel lens 220/120mm focal

We're using LED as of the moment... mine is 80W 32V@2.8Amps

Yes,
there are lots on e bay, But i still cannot believe that those 7 inch lcds would be able to provide the quality, Which you have shown in your projector.

Can you guide to any such good link for lcd. It will be greatly helpful, If possible the seller from whom you purchased.

Unsplit design

Please clear my doubt regarding the placement of groved side of fresnel in a Unsplit design.Is the drawing i have attached is correct.

Yes its correct. The two fresnel's groove must face each other.

Comparing with my 7inch projector

Both are water cooled.

I will do the same box for 8.9 inch projector. So its gonna be smaller than the 10.1 inch projector./
