Correction on the layers:
LCD--Glass--BottomFresnel--Plexi--Glass--Space/Air--Glass Plexi: Lexan XL-10 (used for UV sheild) Fresnel was custom cut to size. Pros: -more compact that others 400watts/BT37 bulb projector -~30,000 lumen on 15,000 hours -easy to focus and bulb change -LCD is fast (16ms) and very good LineDoubler (better than most built-in converter) -nice finish in pine with polyshade. Cons: -HEAVY (50lbs) -very hot (~80C [170F] inside light chamber; ~70C [158F] near Fan and LCD) -minnor light leakage -noise level ~20db added to room *front view* w/o curtain, focus arm, and ballast |

Rear view of Omega. The aluminum plate is where the ballast goes.

As you can see, I keep the benzel of the Benq567s-v2. You can see the lcd screen because I took out the top fresnel.

the bulb hole lies under the side fan. This picture is the inside of Omega. (the Light Chamber). All of the walls are lined with aluminum flushing.

This is the vinyl screen I bought from Lowe's. As you can see, I accidently made a hole to the vinyl screen (mid way up on the right side). So I used blackout cloth (from JoAnn) to conduct this session.

This is a closeup shot of the screen(side view). I made the frame out of wood and cover it with black fabric. The wood under the roller is just there to weigh down the screen (not neccesary needed)
