The buyer of OMega will have the option to include the Light System…which I highly recommended for convenience and shipping cost. After that, the Light System will be sold to others that want it. The 400watts Light System come with (2) bulbs, (2) sockets, (1) ballast, (1) heatsinker, and (1) set of plug. (note: PVC cap belongs to OMega) The bulb and sock lying down are BRAND NEW...a spare just incase.

Here is the DIY Projection Screen that I will auction first...on July 19,2005. I just finished asking around for shipping cost. The Screen will be shipped in a PVC tube for added protection...UPS don't have box that can accommodate this 7feet screen though only ~8lbs.

Ok everybody, this is a "early bird get everything" to own the OMega-567s DIY LCD Projector. Please do your research pior to BIDDING $369 and have your Paypal account ready for BUY-IT-NOW $410. I have scheduled OMega to be on sale at EBay on 7/26/05 @ 9:15pm PDT.
At that time, Ebay will automatically put OMega-567s auction to the public domain for bidding. Here is the EXACT title and EBay number to search for OMega-567s: OMega-567s DIY LCD Projector DLP HDTV Item number: 5792787347 NO RESERVE! NO RESERVE! Winner takes all. Free handling and insurance on shipping cost. Up for auction is one of a kind OMega-567s DIY LCD Projector. This completed projector produces crisp image and great contrast. And room to tweak for even better result. OMega-567s lcd is capable of 1024 x 768 native resolution. One metal halide bulb will last 22,000 hours!! (this kit includes (2) bulbs). Everything in the pictures will be included: OMega-567s projector, Benq LCD housing, Metal Halide kit (bulb laying down is BRAND NEW w/mogul socket). The buyer will also get a detail pictured instruction on de/assembling OMega-567s along with Delta CAD software use for viewing/editing OMega blueprint. --bonus are spec. documents of the ballast, bulb, LCD screen. Please note that OMega-567s does not come with the focusing arm...the buyer need to make one with the provided triplet len, curtain and bolts. You can check out OMega-567s at OMega-567s projector SPEC. * Porjector: OMega-567s * LCD: Benq 567s ver.2 * Metal Halide: Sylvania M400/U BT-37 * Ballast: Megnetik M59 F-can #1111-247SC-TC * Fans: (2)92mm, (1)40mm * AC/DC: 12v-300ma, 9v-200ma * Switch: 3-way * Objective len: Dukane 3-Element Triplet * Fresnel: Split dual focus * Glass: 3/32" thickness (non-temp) * Wood: Pine w/polyshade * Lining and reflector: Aluminum flushing * Box size: 14.5L x 14W x 16H w/o curtain and focus arm. This is a DIY LCD Projector...thus I assume you know somewhat about such object. And it is a great opportunity for you to learn how LCD projectors work. OMega-567s was used very little and it has been sitting in the corner because I am too busy with college. I spent over $600 on making this projector. You would have to spend as much just for parts to build one. You can visit www.diyprojectorcompany.com for further insight on DIY prjectors. They sell a similar kit without the Benq LCD for ~$400. Note that the winner of this auction will get the complete setup of OMega-567s included everything you see in the pictures and much more (PROJECTION SCREEN NOT INCLUDED). Feel free to ask any question about OMega. Due to it weight, please calculate you shipping cost within the US. Please email me for international shipping. OMega will be shipped out with UPS the next day after Paypal payment. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BIDDING! |

Here is the official link to the sale of OMega at Ebay. If you haven't done so, then please check out the full thread for more indepth on OMega-567s projector.
http://cgi.ebay.com/OMega-567s-DIY-L...QQcmdZViewItem And please stay tune for the sale of the DVDO Iscan. I was very luck to own this very rare and expensive linedoubler. But you too can buy this DVDO Iscan at the fraction of retail price. Do the research and you will see that this linedoubler out perform those cheap linedoublers and scalers. |

Thank you all for vewing the auction of OMega-567s. After 200+ viewers but no bidder, I have relisted OMega again for others who have missed the opportunity to own OMega-567s. This will be the last chance to own OMega-567s, a fully work projector. After this last time, I will sell the projector as parts. So stay tune if you want spare parts for your own projectors...15" LCD screen, 400watts metal halide and parts, fans, triplet, fresnel, ect...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE%3AIT&rd=1 Also up for sale is the DVDO iScan LineDoubler. This line doubler is worth the money...or trade it in for a $300 credit toward EXPENSIVE DVDO products. http://cgi.ebay.com/DVDO-iScan-Line-...QQcmdZViewItem |

Sureeeeeeeee...... I come across this AFTER spending ~300$ on ebay for parts for my first projector.
I'm going with a Dukane OHP and a 15" viewsonic lcd and a no name line doubler. If you don't sell it whole i might keep an eye on it for parts... not sure yet, gotta see how mine comes together. Quote:
