I need help repairing a tv, a Grundig 72-410/9 reference.
I got the tv from a company that has been using it for videoconferences.
In the beginning when I got the tv, the tv shut itself off after a while. A local repairing firm said that it was the CRT´s that was broken. I don´t really know if I can trust their judgement because the picture was perfectly clear when it was on
(and the firm hasn´t got a good reputation either).
Now something has happened. All I get is flashes on the screen, like sparks, about a seconds delay between each. When I power on. No picture at all.
Does CRT´s really show pictures perfectly and then just shut themselves off?
Could it be the PSU that´s broken someway?
Anyone having some experience with repairing TV sets?
If I could get the damn thing working I would be very glad since it´s quite a good tv.
I´ll try to source the service manual on monday
