hi fuzzyman,
that's the same lamp i use. it'll run with same ballast as for the osram hqi 150 T or 150 TS and equals (philips cdmt-150 a.s.o.) do you have any shops or webshops around supply lighting for fish tanks? usually they have this stuff. ignitor should meet the requierments of the bulb.....ignition voltage of 4 to 5 kilovolts. and then, try to get an old overhead projector. all the parts e.g. fresnel, reflector, kondensor and lens are contained in an ohp. cu. |

Hi IEF
What materials are Fresnels made from ? You mentioned these parts are available from a normal OHP. Another pj project site indicates that you can use a second fresnel as a condensor. Excuse my ignorance, but I don't know much about optics. What do you think about using two fresnels instead of one. Their design shows two fresnels, facing opposite directions, back to back, between the lamp and the LCD. |

@fuzzyman,
the fresnels used in ohp's made from polycarbonate.this consists of two frenels-sheets with the grooves face to face. the magnifier sheets mostly of cheap pvc. all ppl here using two fresnels. the difference is the setup. either splitted or non splitted. in my setup i haven't split it. so that's why u think i am using just one. go on reading the faq's. that'll help alot to learn about optics. then u'll understand how it works. |

Hi All
Does anyone know where I could lookup technical specifications for Daewoo In-Car LCD screens. These are the 6" and 7" units sold locally, but I have been unsuccessful in finding specifications for the LCDs. Thanx in advance. |
