Zizzidesign,
I don't want to put you down or anything, but you should have a closer look before asking questions. The lcd is by the fresnel, it always is there or between two if a fresnel is used. If you want an idea of the basics of layaout of a DIY projector go to DIYLabs and look at the design pages. |

hey @ all,
"while digesting flowers" lol, and thanks for the nice comments. there is a "plan" attached. maybe that helps provided that u are using the same fresnel and lens. fresnel is a f=210/210 mm and the lens is a varifocus 280-320. if u cannot buy that stuff in the us then take the supplier where i got my stuff from. the fresnel is not splitted, just cutted to 180 x 138mm. a soup ladle as a reflector will do the job in case u cannot find a proper one. condensers and fs-mirrors in the u.s: http://www.anchoroptics.com/ instead of the mh-bulb i use, u can also use the one ace is using. that'll fit.dunno whether the ballast and ignitor fit in. the optical axis for the hole set-up is 69 mm from bottom. well, question could be how to make the enclosure: cut the front-, rear- and bottom plate as on my plan. put in what you have and try. then cut an alloy sheet ( 0,8 to 1mm thickness) and start to tighten it on the left or right sight and bend it over the round corners. go step by step and use screws to do that. so you'll get to the other site and cut the rest off. that's it. and be careful with the brown ribbon cable.don't let it dangling, and never bend it or lay it flat. stripping of the lilliput can be found on this site ( a pdf) : www.wschmid.de . and be careful while handling with all pcb's due to electrostatic discharge. you must be grounded all the time during working on it. here's the plan: the panel holder made of plywood. |
