Hey,
Here is a thread to show you my work so far. Basically I was running a 400W MH 1 year ago with sharp 1650. Then I moved up to 250HQI and sharp 1650 (looked quite good). Then I sold the sharp 1650 and purchased the Lilliput 7" (same time Ace did). BUT while I was constructing, static electricty screwed the lcd over So... here are pics of what i was doing, Im thinking of some alternatives for cheaper LCDS because I will primarly be using this for video, NOT VGA. Here is a pic of my first experiment with the 250 MH and a reflector. |

Here would be a pic of the UV/IR filter and holder, this will sit a few mm's over the bulb and the only light passing through it will be to the Condensor.

Now here is where the condensor holder will sit, I've made the 4 legs for it to sit upon.

Now the messy and somewhat freaky part began. I bought a magnetic ballast for the bulb because Electrical was unavailable to me. I created the ballast its own box, and you can see that I put the 2 Outputs, I made it like that so the light box isn't always attached to ballast, so I can unplug it whenever I need to remove one or the other.

Here is a pic of ballast box and light box connected. They look quite big in the pic, but in real life they aren't that big, I should have put something beside them so you can compare size.
