the fact that some people actually buy it doesnt mean it isnt crazy :P

these panels are years old, and even the 2500 isnt quite as good as the new tft panels, so defenitely not worth 550 dollars. you can buy a nice second hands beamer for that money :S

i can build projection panels for ~200 dollars with the same specs as the qa-2500! (and composite, s-video, vga input ofcourse..)

dump another $350 and you can get the new BenQ PM6100 which by the avsforum.com community is better than the X1 and cheaper.

and i understand the whole hobby thing about DIY but problem I see with the hobby is that you'll never be satisfied and want to get an even better image... so you'll spend even more $$$$

im sure there is a few of you who have spent way more than what a good new O.E.M pj costs on DIY projects

Jeez, why me! I didnt sell it for 549$ ... and that panel was very nice you know cuz you have one.

Anywho, I only put buy nows as a "Luck" option 90% of the time people bid low and dont use buy now..lol

truth is anything over 300$ is too much for any panel (for me)
but many people LOVE panels and the 2500 is supposedly the "king" of them..in the real world panels are still worth thousands so lets not complain about 500$ for an XGA panel..lol

I wish you goodluck on your auction ap0..im pretty sure your gonna get lots of $$ on this one

thats not my panel... LOL

i was just posting it so that we can rag on the guy selling it.

that panel is xga and it might be a great panel "10 YEARS AGO" but by todays standards that panel is worth nada! (to me)

low contrast, you need a OHP and to me its just not convinient.

oops! my bad lol
449$ isnt uncommon for those I know a member of this site who sold one for 600$ plus S/H..lol

just because its XGA people think its good..lol
The ratio isnt that bad..its nice for watching tv but not for high res stuff or more ratio demanding content.
I still use my panels when not using my crt
