would it be a good idea to wrap my computer parts from my monitor in saran wrap until i get it all completly mounted to prevent electrical damage? and how important are the grounds on the monitor?

might not be a good idea to wrap your components with saran wrap. if im not mistaking most of those wraps cling with static...
you should go to a local computer shop and ask them if they have any anti-static bags they can GIVE you. they come with motherboards and such components... they throw it out so just ask. **freebie** grounds are very important. make sure you ground everything exactly how it should be. it can make the difference between it turning on or not or burning out in the event of a failure or problem. ap0 |
