Default mercury vapour

Please help!!!!
Trying to find a cheaper source of light than Metal Halide. Has any one out there tried mercury vapour as they are only about 30% of the price.....

mercury vapour lamps run low in the temp range. the bulb should optimally be 5 - 6000k.

Ill get some info on the globe set up today. Have you had experience with these globes??? As nobody seems to talk about them. How do they compare to Metal Halide?
