Default Maximum power light output for LCD

Hi

I have one application with an outdoor projector. We need a lot of power light (maybe efective 8.000-10.000 lumens output or more).

Commercial projectors in this range cost more than $15.000

Can I use a 1500W MH with a good reflector to hit the LCD (at 1 meter or 3 feet) without problems?.

I will appreciate a lot your comments.

I will post pictures of this project in this excellent forum.

Than you
