Default 125mm barco lens

hi

can someone tell me if i can use a 125mm barco lens with my 7" lcd?

these lens normally work with a 17cm diag crt

quick please i'll see the guy this night

it might be ok moi but u dont have the focal and i think its just a singlet lens, if your getting it cheap pick it up and try it, if its no good just resell it on ebay, u might even make a profit on it.

whoa..those lenses are BIG boys..lol mine weighs about 12 lbs
your gonna need a strong enclosure for it.
If you use the barco lens I'd like to see it,it would be kool to see,the lens has a focus head too
what lens model do you have? I have a D-HD rev B.

Can someone explain to me why a 125mm diameter lens is better and or brighter. I am looking at my setup and all the light that hits the back of my double fresnel is making it to the back of the 65mm objective. Now If I use only the 9 inch FL fresnel I can get a larger diameter hotspot that fills 125mm circle but the hotspot on the paper is weaker since it is larger and spread out. My guess is it would be the same brightness since the same amount of light is hitting the back of the fresnel and then all of that light is making it to the objective. I know there is spill outside of the objective but this looks insignificant. So if I can focus all the light that hits the fresnel on a 65mm why do I need a 125mm?
