2 questions help please.

my goal is construct a compact projector using a 2inch lcd(made by sony) and i want to project a good quality TV image. I'm hoping to project about 50" from about 12'. Even though i've been doing all the research there are still some unawnsered questions.

1.I realalise i need a good lcd screen and the on i'm talking about is here www.spybag.com/cgi-bin/spybag1/SB3004.html i think it will do the trick. if its not someone please tell me.

2.i'm not to shure where i can get the proper projection lenses of if by anychance i can buil one, keep in mind i want good quality. Sohopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

3.I need to find out what kind of light i will need size and all.

4.finally if anyone has ever built a succesful "compact projector".
i would like some isight

with that 2" lcd you cant project a good image.

it only has 90.000 dots, when you're looking at such a projected screen you will be counting each dot

go for a 7" lcd.

1.so i guess the one i would be looking at would be the 7" liliput w/remote. so thats it then thats the one i'll be bying.

2. so what type of lens should i be looking at then? and if by any chance someone could point me on a site or book with some info on how to build a suitable lens. or where to buy one.

3. My goal is to still to project an image thats 50" to 60" could someone tell me what kinds of components i would be looking at?
