Lilliput LCD is great lol. Just gotta make sure your gentle with it. I ****ed mine up with static electricty lol. Too bad killed a good unit, i didn't even damage the ribbon and it dies lol. So don't forget to ground yourself before touching the freaken thing. Also I hate ripping off the plastic on it, had a hard time doing that, I seem to have bad luck with plastic lol. Good luck to all.

Not sure yet, but im very tempted
One thing tho: is the 200:1 contrast ratio enough to get a real good image?

BTW: it wasnt really the lilliput-stripping that was the problem, but i *think* i heard the lilliput could have another lcd panel inside? Other than the hitachi?
But then again: i'm not really sure

Here in Holland the lilliput is sold for 159,90 euro. Thats cheap and you don't pay extra tax for importing it!

look for the topic on european shops, you will find the shop there!!!!!!!

I was wondering if you could post a step by step procedure of how you stripped that lcd and if you could post pics that would be great. Thanks

question, what max resolution can this thing do?

I'm looking into buying one very soon... and this lcd screen looks ideal...

Is 1024 the max? or does it do 1280 and 1024 is it's native resolution kinda thing?

or?

thanks

Heya multi the spec's are:

Native reso 800x480

Compresion upto 1024x768 but ive had mine on the one above before and worked fine.

Colours, 265k 18bit enhanced to 24bit

Responce, 30ms

brightness is 400nits

contrast is 200:1

Multi no joke this thing run normally on vga is hell clear, it makes all images come to life compared to a crt, its about 2-3x clearer then my crt monitor and dvd's look real lol. You dont realy want to run it above 800x600 cos things get too small to see in xga especially text lol.
