Default Liquidvideo 15" !!!!

I just got the Liquidvideo a150x1 15" moitor at circuit city. It is beautiful. I am extremely pleased with the qualit. The back definately says 1512, and has Chi Mei written on it. Cool. Anyway, i cannot wait to get started on my PJ. It is gonna be awesome. I am about to order all of my parts. Anyone know of a cheaper place to get fresnels, other than diylabs.org? I will probably just get it there, but it would be nice to save some dough.
Take care.

actually, there aren't any specs, just a few things listed, like Resolution, 16 million colors, on-screen display, low power consumption, and Multimedia speakers.

The manual doesn't list specs either. Kinda weird. But I know it is a Chi Mei 1512, because the back of the monitor says it clearly.

Sorry.

Hey thanks, I'm just trying to confirm that this panel is actually a 1512. Many have said the CC LV panels are 300:1 etc.

saleperson in CC didn't know the spec, couldn't find either . 300:1 was on the lable of Liquidvideo 17" LCD. My guess is they copied it for 15". It still doesn't have contrast ratio in CCs around me.

Hi,

I purchased the Liquidvideo 15" a month ago. It's a fair monitor. The
specs are 300:1 CR, and about 30 ms response time. Specs not posted
on the box, but in the store a sign had the specs for the 15". I do not believe
this is a true 24 bit screen, like many others, there are artifacts and odd
dithering taking place.

All in all though, a good buy for $230 with rebate. I posted some early results
of mine in the post your results thread, tony's coffee table projector.

If you have any questions about this monitor let me know.

tony

The liquidvideo is 1512 white label. 16-bit color.

Be very careful when you start stripping it. I had one, and I took my time and still screwed it up. There is a short flat cable on the end that has very little give and I ripped it in half before I even saw it.

TAKE YOUR TIME AND GOOD LUCK! You are right though, it is a real nice monitor.

I saw your pics in the post your results thread. I tried to email you but you don't accept emails from the site

Anyway, I have a liquidvideo and I love the way your coffee table looks. I had kind of planned to do a coffee table style with mine, only I think a little different. I would love to see some more pictures of yours.

I was thinking of something a little more MKII style, but with a flat top that could be sat between a couple recliners, but I'd still love to see some more detail on yours
