i see. so i made the conversion for the dinosaur lol. at a throw of 192" or 16ft
your pj must be at 4:3 = 125" provided using the diy-labs triplet. i havn't got a clue what fl this triplet has. i suppose around 12 1/2 ".
well, there is another oppurtunity to get a smaller pj at the same throw. use a spectacle glass w minus 1 diopter from the optician w same diameter your triplet has. it'll extend your fl to around 15 3/4 " . put it onto the side where the light goes in. it'll work, definitely. we've tried.no changes of the setup is necessary.

cobweb vanished? lol

Heya Guys,
you can talk about what you want in here except the obvious lol. Manny read this thread and its a good place for all to learn abit on all things rather then just about my projector.

Johnny, the light i bought came from the UK, here is the link:

http://www.internationallamps.co.uk/...scharge75.html

They also sell to customers so its an easy thing to abtain from these guys, however they can be abit slow, a few phone calls of abuse may be on the cards lol. The lamp you want is the one in the top of the list, also ask for a ballast box as this will have the ignigtor built in, all should cost about 50GB pounds with a g12 socket.

ACE im not a patient man. I need a projector fix!!! is there any way we can pre-buy your plans get a sneak peak, or plans of the parts that are in good working order, and then when your done a full set of plans? there are enough people on this forum that would be wiling to do this (I would asume) that any cash flow problems you have with all the group buys and such will dissapear.

Dont get me wrong: I'm not trying to undermine your profeshonalisum by asking for incompleat plans. But if we pay you in advace then you dont need to wory about keeping "trade secrets" seacret and can share your work thus far in its totality. We would also get a better feel for your PJ and can think longer and harder about any alterations we are planing on making.

Meant with the best of goodwill

Is just fouling around and trying this not more fun then buying plans and building the replica?

First try it yourself and then, if your not satisfied, buy his plans.

Ok that is my opinion

that is my opinion too! However, im a PJ noob and need to borrow pro's experience and genrall proness. What im realy after is plans on that light box and a genral idea of what his projector is like. Once i have incorporated that knolege into my iner workings I feel I will be able to create (or atempt to create) this.
