Just happened to be passing... I quit DIYP a while back to go travelling and saw this post.

Another possibility. The following is a schematic for a DB25-DB15 converter cable that I made for a 3m5300 panel. You might want to try it out (with a HD26, of course) if the previously suggested schematic doesn't work.

FYI, the schematic came from service docs for the Ovation 810c panel. It took a LOT of research to find!!

Hi guys. I came back with good news. I just builded both cables and both worked perfectly; both pinouts worked for my projection panel (the panel did not burned ut).

Thanks vinyljunky for the diagram provided, it smoothly too.

Finding the HD26 connector was a little bit difficult, but I found it.

Thanks for the support guys.

Default 3m 6450 power cable

I have recently acquired this 3M 6450 panel and will use the svideo input, but it didn't come with the necesarry power cable. It looks like a 7 pin DIN connector but i have no idea where to find or how to build this! The unit requires 15V DC which I can find but the wiring is gonna be a doozie. I see 6 pin DIN connectors but 7 pin! anyone??

Hi guys. I bought a used 3M 6450 projection panel for my rear projector. But didn't include the power cable. Draven 66 had the same problem. Did you manage to find a solution? Is it possible to build a power supply for this unit? How should it be wired?
