Video Projector Ventillation

I've just bought a new video projector, a Boxlight Xp-8T as an upgrade from my Sharp XV-710p.

I've got my Sharp installed in a small box room that is behind and separated from the main room by a false wall with door.

I cut a small square hole above the door and I built a shelf for the projector for it to shine it's image through to the screen.

Now the Sharp has it's air intake at the front and exhaust at the rear. But the Boxlight is the opposite, with the exhaust at the front.

I want to install the Boxlight in roughly the same place but will be mounting it upside down due to the lens positioning on the projector.

In the manual it says it should be located 3 meters from the nearest object due to the temperature of the exhaust air. The false wall can handle heat fine.

I thought about attaching a plastic kind of scoop to the front exhaust to guide the air in a different direction instead of straight forward to allow me to have it close to the projection hole and for the sake of it have a small electric fan blowing air into the intakes a few feet away from them.

Anyone got any thoughts about this or suggestions ?

I think it will work but I haven't got the projector yet to try it.

how about putting a seperate fan on the exhust side to pull the warm air away from the machine.
if you got a room you could design an L-shape tube with fan on one side, and place it in front of exhust and create a suction.
i had a firend that used this method to cool his PC. blow air from one side and suck it out the other.
