Default Help me get started on a 1080p projector

The plan: make a 100"+ 1080p projector with an LED for a lamp

I don't know if this is reasonable. That is why I am here. I'd love it if anyone could help me.

LCD: I plan on parting out a 15.4" WUXGA monitor. I won't disconnect the controller. Hopefully, I can find one with HDMI input, but that's not a priority. Are there any issues with this?

Fresnels: Oh my god I hate everything when it comes to fresnels. Are there ANY dealers that aren't shady and don't charge an arm and a leg for shipping? I've tried pmmalens, optolife, bhlens, diyprojectorkits, and pmoj. All seem way too expensive with shipping figured in.

Projection lens: This is also an issue. No idea where to buy.

LED: I'll probably just pick up a 100W 8000lm array off ebay.

From what I've figured, with split fresnels with 220mm focal length, and a 220mm focal length projection lens, I'll get a 140 inch screen at 7 foot throw. Going up to 330mm each brings it down to an 80 inch screen.

Is there any input on this? Any recommendations on parts, dealers, or anything? I'm looking to get this done within a month, which I doubt is too unreasonable considering I don't have any obligations during the summer.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Update on the research:

Fresnels: I forgot to mention that I have 3 50" diagonal fresnels already. However, their focal length is 790mm. This is obviously an issue. Should I just go ahead and buy 2 new fresnels with appropriate focal lengths? What ARE appropriate focal lengths? If I want to go with 220mm collector fresnel and 220mm triplet lens, would it be bad to have a 220mm collimator fresnel? I read that 220/330 was good because the shorter collimator FL allows for more light. Is this because 220mm is shorter than 330mm and there is a ratio involved, or is it just that, in general, shorter collimator FL means brighter image?

Triplet lens: Just to be sure, this is supposed to match collector fresnel FL, right?

Thanks again, sorry for the double post. No edit button?
