One lead has it where the panels vary as they are from several manufacturers like Sharp, Proxima/Infocus and a few others. I have'nt gotten the companies name yet (the guy did'nt mention it, don't know why, LOL) but I have spoken to one of the administrators and he has confirmed to me that they do have a supply in stock (YES!!!) let's hope this supply is enough for all of us here to get into the fold.

The other lead I'm working on is actually from Proxima, I'm told that there are several resellers and a surplus warehouse in the mid-west, a representative promised to get back to me when the location and whereabouts have been confirmed.

I can't wait!

There are other places to source these lcd. It is extremely difficult unless you know someone though. I have a friend who works for a company that leases computer equipment to companies. He's allowed to buy nonfunctional stuff for cheap however they are non working units. He just takes two bad lcd monitors and makes one good one. Fortunately, I'm getting a compaq 15" lcd for $50. Unfortunately, no one has attempted to take this appart so i don't know if it will be a good choice. Also, it is limited as to how many he can get and I don't want to take advantage of him. I will see where his company dumps the old lease equipment.
