Best LED for Modding question?

Hi All,

Can we in the DIY groups get some sort of a consensus on the best 50 and 100 watt LED’s for use in projector modding? I am referring to specific models with OEM part numbers and their specifications like voltage, colortemp, etc . There are several listed on EBay and other sites. They sell with or without power supplies and with or without a lens. I have seen several that look very similar but are a slightly different and I am greatly concerned that one may be less reliable than another. The sites selling them give ridiculously long life expectations that look great on paper but there really is little or no track records to compare yet. When you are pumping this kind of power into something this tiny I would expect the potential for instant failure to be pretty high. Feel free to chime in with your choice. I am going to post this question on several DIY boards and hopefully we will all benefit from it.
