You can't remove the lamp like you can do with normal projectors. I will have to open the projector up to get to the LED Lamp. I will definately open this up for guys and take some shots but I just cannot make the time. Will definately keep you posted and hopefully by the end of this month I will have some time on my hands. I think the setup will be like a standard DLP with a colour wheel but really can't be sure until it's open.

Hi!
Probably my construction is biggest. I used 60 pcs of XR-E colour LED's. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Luminosity of this projector was great but due to problem with color correction I decided to stop this project. LED's have different color depth than original light source (dichroic filters) and it was impossibile to correct mainly very deep red. Three years ago I buld a 4-LED projector that all this time work very good. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Best regards saymon |

I see that I have sparked the creative talents of others with some custom mods. I have been very busy finishing school and with other projects. I still have some mods that I would like to attempt and work on.
I however have started to post all my work on my own page. I dont wish to steal any thunder from diyaudio but it is easier for me to keep track of my personal projects, help others and answer questions all in one central area. Come have a look if you are still an active modder. projectionforums.com • Index page CFG |
