Default Optoma EP721 Ballast Bypass

ok so i read up on some of the other threads in regards to this topic. So i tried it, here is the outcome

Removed ballast and found 5 small wires going to board from ballast. I disconnected this set of wires and ground each pin to see which would leave pj on and by pass the ballast.

Pin 1 = No Lamp error code
Pin 2= PJ stays on, color wheel spins, looks like its working but no picture and then gives Replace Lamp error code.
Pin3= Same as pin #1
Pin4= Nothing. Power light comes on but does nothing else, when i remove the ground PJ starts up and then No Lamp error code again.
Pin5= Same as Pin #1

When i do ground Pin 4 after PJ powers up i see a very slight spark and then the PJ stops everything but stays powered on......

Anyone have any similar outcomes. Any better ideas? Now this is all grounded, do you think i have to jump Pins 2 and 4 together instead?
Please help!!!!!

One other thing to note is that some projectors use electronic sensors to detect whether or not there is light. I've only seen it on a few, but maybe that could be an issue?

Yeah I already tried that too. I used an external power supply and installed the original lamp housing and new alt source lamp figuring it had to sence a light to go but to no avail.
