Default LP650 Help

My InFocus LP650 has started to randomly not power up. In this state there is no green power indicator light. I suspect that the power supply is the culprit. Any ideas on what component(s) to replace before it fails completely?

Default LP650 Help

These projectors are notorious for their power supplies, however, the lamp itself has a connection for the blower motor on the lamp. If this connector is not fully seated, the projector may show the symptom you are experiencing. You can see the contacts if you take the lamp out. Let me know what you find, it may be something else.

Thanks Jeff! I will take a look at the fan connection around the bulb this weekend. I appreciate your input!

Jeff - I looked at the contacts on the bulb blower connection. They appear to be seated with no noticeable corrosion. Any other thoughts on what might keep this unit from powering up?
Thanks
Robert

Default LP650 Help

At this point, it is probably the Power Supply. InFocus does not sell them anymore. MBates in this forum might be able to repair it for you. I am sending a few to him to fix, he charges less than $100. Good luck
