Hi,
I have an EMU1212M sound card with a daughter master clock board with BNC clock output. The EMU feeds a Wolfson 8740 DAC through SPDIF. The DAC accepts an external clock and has 2 input pins for that, with pads for optional resistors and caps. The question is: I just build a cable with a BNC connector on one side and solder two two wires on Dac board on the other side? It looks like too simple. Maybe on DAC side impedence must be optimized with resistors and wires decoupled with caps? Thanks for help. |
