Hi,
I have a cdpro2 with about 4 or 5 tda1541 on the shelf for the last 3 yrs . A good friend who owned a high-precision machined shop call me last week and kindly offer me to built the cd player as a R and D project. I am still work on the design and the project should start within a month. My goal is to make the CD as simple as possible, one box with 16 bit no o/s, no output design yet, but probably passive since the preamp will have a good drive ability. I just need a good simple PSU with the correct on/off sequence and a control board with display. I know some kit are available but i dont want to order all over the world at different place, i want this project to be top notch and able to compete with the best. It might be possible to built a very few extra unit, as to be confirm. Thank's |

Hi, I'm working in collaboration with another Montrealer to make a CD-Pro2M player.
We've got a fair amount done, but would welcome the opportunity to collaborate with somebody else. Frankly, the case design is our weakest link right now.

Hi Matt,
Thank's for your reply! I need to confirm a few thing first with my friend just to make sure we're going in the same direction. Since this project should be either¨cost no object¨for our own passion or with a commercial goal and all the associate constraint. Than, i will definitly contact you to for further detail and dicuss a possible collaboration. Our major skill is design and mechanic aspect. My friend is a specialist in high tech telecom machined prototype so the mechanical aspect shouldn't be a problem. |
