Having bought secondhand, and being enjoying, a Pioneer DV-575A DVD player, I'm keen (and able) to upgrade the coupling caps, except that I can't identify them !
If anyone would be kind enough to volunteer I could email a photo of the PCBs in the player so that he / she could indicate the caps (and crop the pic down to just that board if liked) and email it back to me. (I've moved the power supply board to the left a bit - only in the pic ! - to reduce the file size). Can't resist asking if the caps have any other function than blocking DC - if not, as my preamp has coupling caps at the input I assume I could replace the coupling caps in the DVD player with pieces of wire ? Many thanks in advance. |
