Hello
I have a Monica2 NOS DAC that reclocks the spdif signal. See http://diyparadise.com/dackit/1545bdackit.html Is there any point adding a superclock upgrade to my transport, if my DAC reclocks? I suspect that the reclocking is minimal??? Any suggestions? |

Apologies.
RE: My DAC: "it has asynchronous reclocking of the 3-wire eiaj signals". I do not understand what this means though. |

The 3 lines from the 8414 get clocked through a D-type flip flop at 80MHz. This makes the signals synchronous with the 80MHz clock and improves jitter but probably leads to data errors. I have no idea if improving the transport will be worthwhile |

when upgrading your drive with a new clock, make sure the SPDIF signal is reclcocked again as well best |
