Default Marantz output cap delete

My marantz SA11 player has 2 pairs of 220uf slimics in the ouput per channel and was intending to bypass them with film caps.

I hear that replacing with 1uf is sufficient, however i still need 8 in total.

Had an idea and in order to retain dc protection, what would be the impact on sonics if i just shorted the output caps and instead add a 1uf to my preamps input and with the saved funds, i could go for better caps (just needed now).

What do you guys think, i have read through the threads and the simpliest approach is to measure the DC at the ouput but i dont have an accurate meter and would like to have the protection. In any case my preamp does have caps after the first ecc82 input tube and also at the outputs. Will this be sufficient protection.
