I built a RAKK DAC with the power supply and a passive I/V converter.
I fired it up tonight. It works. Review later. The kits were excellent, Kevin was a joy to do business with, and the documentation was clear and concise. A great experience. Next Step: Get it out of the Rat Shack plastic box and into a proper chassis. Doug |

Awesome. Please post your impressions of how it sounds sometime. Did you go with the passive output stage?

I actually used a "lesser" ( M6) 600:10k inter-stage transformers that I had on hand and a 1k generic 1/4 W Metal film resistor.
Since I have only 45 Min on it, all I can say is it sounds promising. I will have a better Idea after I put some time on the box. Not much of a hardship. Doug |
