I have found the place to get the I2S signals in my CD player for a TDA1543 DAC upgrade. The Chip is TDA1305 and i found that:
PIN 4=SCK (CLOCK) PIN 5= WS Word Select PIN 6=SD, DATA Is this correct? Could I just directly connect these pins to TDA1543? |

Seems like pins 3,7,8 are grounded for I2S operation. Is this the case?
Is it really an upgrade |

I will check this, the TDA1305 is inside the player (Grundig CD-1) and is used for D/A......and working.
I would just take the I2s signals from the TDA1305 and connect a TDA1543 DAC.... |
