I would like to build a crystal oscillator at 33.8688 MHz to substitute the ceramic resonator in cdrom.
I have the crystal with the right F (3rd overtone) and i would like some hints for a good oscillator circuit. I think this could be a starting point: http://hem.passagen.se/communication/txo.html (scroll down to: "Third Overtone Oscillator Circuit") ciao andrea |

Can anybody give some hints?
Maybe the "Kwak overtone clock" in his "Asynchronous Reclocker 3" circuit. The value in the schematic ar OK for 100 MHz, what and how i have to change for 33.8688 MHz crystal (3rd overtone)? thanks andrea |
