£9 DVD player (Durabrand 1005)
Picked up one of these £9 Durabrand 1005 DVD players. The unit has a coxaial digital out (PCM or dolby digital by remote control) and internal switched mode PSU. The unit is ok for DVD (the drives a bit noisy and temperamental) but the coaxial out seems ok with audio cd. Note there is also rectified FM radio in the sound if I turn up the volume.
Frequency response 20hz to 20Khz SNR - 65db!!! Dynamic range - 90db http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/a...SDA/article.do I'll have a look at the chips inside tonight! |
