Question I/V installation

Hi,

Sorry, Im a novice when it comes to digital (I like valves ).

Anyway, I have an old Rotel RCD-855 and would like to have a play. I'll probably do the nos mod, I have a clock to install (with psu) and the usual replacing of psu caps, bypassing and decoupling of the 1541 will be done.

However, I am very interested in installing a new I/V stage, the D1 thats popular on here or the simple one (jockho I think) are likely candidates. However, how are these installed, I have the general idea but do need some guidence if poss.

Many thanks

Stu
