I was just wondering what other DIY Audio people think about the quality of CD (Audio Only) Players vs. using a DVD Player as an Audio Player.
Reason being; I see so many DIY'ers doing all these modifications to Players such as the Sony NS500V and other Sony DVD Combo-Players. So, Is it that DVD players are really not great Audio CD players? and these modifications are because of that? It does seem that the so called "Mainstream"market is moving towards the DVD Combo-Players. There does seem to be less and less Audio only CD Players being made or sold in the mass-market. |
