What are the better DAC's around at the minute?

All I want it for is CD replay, doesnt need any USB or other fancy stuff, being in a small a chassis as possible would help alot aswell.

Lavry DA-10, Stello 220 MK II, Bel Canto DAC3, Benchmark DAC-1, Apogee Mini-DAC, Mytek Stereo96 are a few examples that are highly regarded. Bel Canto DAC2's are available used for great prices with great performance as well.

Thanks for that list, but I was thinking more along the lines of cheap DIY efforts, or pre built kits. bit like the DAC in box.
