Default saa7321gp

Hello,

does anyone know where to buy a saa7321gp chip?
I need it to repair my micromega duo BS2 DAC.
Or is there a way to use an other chip ?

Yes but it depends on how much space is available and how much work you want to put into it.

That's a very different component which integrates much of a CD player as well as containing the DAC. It's not a replacement for the 7321.

As I recall, the 7322 and 7323 are just slightly warmed over versions of the 7321. I don't have the datasheets to hand, but they may be possible direct substitutions. They have the same functions as the 7321, unlike the 7327.

David.

Hi,

I don't have the service manual for a player that uses SAA7321 at hand rightnow, but I think they have different pinout. I will chek this further when I get home. Also SAA7322/23 don't xsys out. The chanses are that your player uses the xsys out as a masterclock.

Best regards,

Magnus Kofoed

And if I shouldn't see you guys before christmas: A merry christmas to all of you.
