74AC logic V.S. 74HC logic ?

Hello to all:

There have been some statements that 74AC logic is not good
(or necessary) for digital applications due to it's radiations of
noise(?). I have an Assemblage DAC 2.0 that uses some sort
of clocking device (for the word clock signal) between the CS8412
and the PMD100 chip that uses (2) 74AC logic chips. Would I be better off if I replaced these AC logic chips with HC (or VHC) logic replacements?

Any response would be appreciated!
