Default Optical Digital out on tv

Hi,

Is it possible to go from an optical digital output on a tv to a set of analog inputs on a tube preamp? It would be preferable to avoid purchasing a replacement for the preamp b/c it sounds good already..

Thanks,

Dave

As audio DAC that can handle the TV sampling rate will do.
