Is the CDM9/63 compatible with CDM9/44

I've briefly searched, but all I can find is differences between different CDM4s.

Basically, I have a CDM9/63. Should this fail, would I be able to drop in a different variant of CDM9 in its place (i.e. cdm9/44)?

What are the differences between the different CDM9s? Some must be pro modules. Do some have brushless motors like some of the CDM4s?
