DDE V1.1, how to lower output

Hi
I'll be getting an Audio Alchemy V1.1 vintage dac & I understand that its output is much higher than the std. 2V. Can anyone advice how to mod so that the output to 2-2.5V? any other mods to enhance the sound other than the adaptor?
Thks

Voltage divider will do the trick.
The other solution is to decrease gain around analog filter stage.

I would go with the carbon film voltage divider option.

Good luck

I would prefer to lower gain at the analog stage but got no schematics which resistor to change. Any ideas which specific resistors on the board to change?
Much thks.
