Default Good recklocker and crappy reclocker

Hi
I want to build a spdif DAc with two reclokers (one good, one bad) and possibility to switch between recovered clocks.
I was thinking about switching PLL filters of cs8416, but this IC seems to be inherently good reclocker, because synchronizes only to preambule of data and therefore seems free from data induced jitter.
Would it be possible to use some 'crappy but working' clock recovery for spdif? Like 74HC... PLL or something?
Waiting for suggestions

regards
Adam
