Default dcc salvage operation

I would like to salvage the dac adc converter board from an old dcc cassette recorder. In short I want to remove the mechanics of the cassette player and keep all the other components.

I have no idea where to start. Any help will be appreciated

Come be think about, if I could save of dac I would be happy
