Help to rejuvanate CD Player

Hi,
I have a CD player which I accidentaly killed
by plugging in the wrong power supply to
the decoder side.
I have replaced the Saa7327 decider IC.
When I power up all I can see is the laser
movement but the spindle motor does not
spin & I only see the display reading close
& open.
Can someone pls advice on how I can go
about trouble shooting my cdp ?

The Make and model number would help.!

Hi ,
It's a local brand call Usher. It's uses a Philips CD12.1
I think cd transport. Tried getting a service manual but
am told it's not available to the public.
