I bought a cd482 for HK$200, about US$25. Which is using CDM4/19 (Not Bad), SAA7210 ( Non-OS !!! in default) and the TDA1543 DAC chip. :D :D

1) I just cut 4 legs (3 output and the PS pin) of the TDA1543 from the PCB, raise it to 8V supply and connect it directly to a Passive I/V.
2) Added a Minimalist clock as per LT1016 spec. sheet.

3)Damped the CDM4 with blue tak.
4) Added Sanyo OS-Cons all over the place.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Now it sounds soooooooooooOOO good !!! Very very good indeed for US$40 !! I can't believe it:eek:  :D :D
